Ok then! Before placing this CD in your player, i absolutely suggest you to get a really good orthopedic neck brace. When it is over, your poor spine will tell why. I’m for real.

JUNGLE ROT , is an American (USA) Death Metal band, who shows us that to create a true massacre a “blast beat” , inhuman speed playing or virtuosism in each instrument, is not always the right path to follow. Slow, very heavy riffs performed with foreforcefulnes , a dominating bass in the sound as never (or very few times) heard before, no guitar solos, but with A LOT of “groove” in them. It seems that the singer really loved the work of Chris Barnes in THE BLEEDING. The drums traces such a beat, they’ll make you bang your bloody head all around, and the lyrics about miseries of war… What else can you ask for?

DEAD AND BURIED expels savagism in every track, anything that any death-brutal death fan would appreciate in its fair measure. This is not a Technical Sound band. JUNGLE ROT is based on simplicity and a balanced, sensible sound. Not so clean, not so saturated.

All the tracks follow each another with creating a boredom atmosphere, tracks to be felt, instead of being heard acutely and analized.

That is all I can tell about this great disc I recommend to brutality true fans.

OK, pues antes de poner este CD en su reproductor, les sugiero que se consigan un buen collarín ortopédico. Al acabar de escucharlo, sus pobres vértebras cervicales les dirán porqué. Es en serio…

JUNGLE ROT, banda gringa de death metal que nos demuestra que para crear una verdadera masacre no se necesita el blast beat, velocidades inhumanas o virtuosismo en cada instrumento. Riffs lentos, pero contundentes y pesadísimos; un bajo tan dominante en el sonido como pocas veces se puede escuchar; ningún solo de guitarra, pero con MUCHO ‘’groove’’ en ellas; un vocalista al que se nota que el Chris Barnes de The Bleeding le gustó un chingo; una batería que marca unos ritmos que a huevo te hacen azotar la cabeza; letras acerca de las miserias de la guerra ¿Qué más se puede pedir??

DEAD AND BURIED escupe salvajismo en cada tema, algo que a cualquier fan de los sonidos death metal ultra brutales sabrá apreciar en su justa medida. La técnica no le sobra a la banda, hay que decirlo…lo suyo es la sencillez y un sonido equilibrado, ni demasiado limpio ni tampoco sucio.Las canciones pasan una tras otra sin cansarte, son temas para sentirse, más que para ponerse a escuchar con atención y analizar.

Es todo lo que puedo decir de un disco que recomiendo a los verdaderos fans de la brutalidad.
